Playoff heartbreak

Your decisions

Fictional club events from this simulated season.

1. MD 12 · Two names on the penalty spot
Let the players settle it together. Cooper lets Chris Cohen and Joe Worrall agree the order. The dressing room enjoys the trust; the coaches would still have preferred a few practice kicks.
Next 3 matches: a dressing-room lift creates more chances, with a little less defensive focus.

2. MD 23 · Mid-season replacement
Tyler Walker out; Jamie Paterson in.
Tyler Walker fails a late fitness test before the second half of the season. Pick someone else for the run-in.

3. MD 32 · The wrong kit arrives on the coach
Borrow training tops and keep moving. Cooper keeps the warm-up going in training tops. Lewis Grabban and Jamie Paterson get their preparation, though the changing room has never looked less coordinated.
Next match: a small fatigue cost. Following 2: better organisation.

4. MD 46 · The club considers its options
Back the club and shield the players. Cooper backs the club in public and keeps Matty Cash away from the microphones. Lewis Grabban gets a fired-up squad, but the row follows them into leg two.
Second leg: a lift in confidence, with some risk of losing focus.
