Playing and saving

Your draft and game preferences are stored in your browser so you can resume a run. Clearing your browser storage removes that local progress.

If you sign in, Supabase stores your email address and account session. Resend delivers your sign-in emails. Your email is not displayed on the leaderboard. Saving a public season publishes your chosen manager name, team and simulated result so other players can view it.

Higher or Lower uses a session cookie and private server records to remember the current question and check answer times. Guest practice scores are not published. Eligible signed-in runs are ranked: your best points, streak, average answer time and chosen display name appear on the leaderboard. Short fixed-stat pools remain practice-only. Inactive question sessions are cleared after two days when the game next processes a run; ranked best scores remain until removed or your account is deleted.

Visitor statistics and performance

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits, popular pages, referring sites, countries and devices. It does not use analytics cookies. Vercel Speed Insights samples page performance to help us find slow or unstable pages.

We exclude sign-in and profile pages from these analytics events, remove URL queries and fragments, and replace individual saved-season identifiers with a general page label. We do not attach your email, manager name or account ID. We honour browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for these events.

We also count when a Cooper Challenge draft begins, a season finishes, and when players use the share, image-save or screenshot-view controls. Each action is counted at most once per game run. The run is recorded only as a hash, alongside the game mode and version. For finished seasons we also record the difficulty and a broad outcome: champions, automatic promotion, play-off promotion, relegation or other. These counts do not store your team, full result, email or browser identity. Opening screenshot view or saving an image does not tell us whether it was posted elsewhere.

Forest player comparisons

If you choose to compare players, we save the question, the two players and your answer (or that you skipped). An essential, anonymous browser cookie stops repeat votes on the same pair. We store a hash of its random value with the vote, not your email address, account ID or IP address. You can clear the cookie in your browser; comparison votes already submitted remain in the research totals. Votes inform future rating reviews but do not automatically change game scores.

Our hosting and error logs help diagnose failures and protect the service. These are separate from visitor statistics. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information.

Advertising

Advertising is currently disabled while Google reviews the site. We have prepared Google AdSense display ads for the space below game content.

When ads are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar storage, your IP address and device information to deliver and measure ads. Where required, Google’s consent message lets you consent, decline or manage your choices before personalised advertising. You can revisit your choice through the “Privacy and cookie settings” link provided by Google at the bottom of pages displaying its consent message.

See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Ad blockers or declining consent do not prevent you from playing.
