Playoff heartbreak

Your decisions

Fictional club events from this simulated season.

1. MD 12 · Extra session or fresh legs?
Keep the players fresh. Cooper protects the recovery day. Scott McKenna gets fresh legs for the next fixture.
Next match: fresher legs. Following 2: a small preparation cost.

2. MD 23 · Mid-season replacement
Eric Lichaj out; Oliver Burke in.
Eric Lichaj twists an ankle during a club photo call. The replica cup is fine; he is out for the run-in. Find a replacement.

3. MD 32 · Late-night board message leaks
Ask the club to clarify. The club says the message was encouragement, not a new target. Joe Worrall and Michael Mancienne return to training.
Next 3 matches: a dressing-room lift creates more chances, with a little less defensive focus.

4. MD 46 · An agent chooses his moment
Call the agent and close the door. Cooper speaks to the agent, then to Scott McKenna and Joe Worrall. The rumour stays outside the training ground before leg two.
Second leg: calmer heads and fewer mistakes, but a slower start.
