MD 12 · The haircut before the derby
Laugh it off and back them. Cooper jokes that the barber has no say in team selection. Jayden Richardson and Brice Samba relax; the red streaks survive the press conference.
Next 3 matches: a dressing-room lift creates more chances, with a little less defensive focus.MD 32 · A very bad Derby-night idea
Ban it and brief the squad. Cooper bans the hotel stunt and puts Jack Robinson and Tendayi Darikwa in the Derby briefing. No fireworks, no police call, just football.
Next 3 matches: fewer distractions tighten the defence, though Forest create slightly less.
